Hacettepe University Department of Architecture and Urban Planning is one of the five departments within the Başkent OSB Vocational School of Technical Sciences. In the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, there is only the Surveying and Cadastre Program. Since its establishment in 1982, the Surveying and Cadastre Program has continued its educational activities in different units of Hacettepe University (Ankara Vocational School, Polatlı Technical Sciences Vocational School and since 2017, Başkent OSB Technical Sciences Vocational School).

Our program is a 2-year associate degree program consisting of 4 semesters. In our program, theoretical and applied courses are given in the form of face-to-face training. The courses taught within the scope of our program consist of compulsory, elective, vocational and common courses. Most of the vocational courses in our education program (at the computer and in the field) are given practically. 25% of our taught courses consist of elective courses. In addition to the courses taught, certificate training support is also received from various companies in the mapping sector. Our program includes technological measuring devices and a computer laboratory as technical infrastructure. Three lecturers work full time in our program.
